2 students pose with their trophy at We The People States

After an impressive showing in preliminary rounds, the HBHS AP Government students wowed judges and won the We The People state competition. This is the third time HBHS has won in the last five years.

The competition covers six units all pertaining to the Constitution and asks students a collection of questions to test their knowledge. Our students won five of the six units in addition to the overall crown.

The 15 students that represented HBHS were so impressive that they were encouraged to travel to Washington, D.C. for We The People Nationals in April.
